Purpose of the Havebury Tenants Forum
The Tenants' Forum is your voice, working to represent you as tenants and leaseholders of Havebury. They are the 'eyes and ears' of Havebury in local neighbourhoods, helping to identify issues and provide feedback.
The Forum has a successful partnership with Havebury and that role includes helping to make better decisions about the way services are delivered. They are regularly consulted on a wide range of issues (not just housing) and are helping to improve services so they reflect the different needs of our local communities.
The Tenants' Forum consists of tenant and leaseholder volunteers. Out of this, five members are nominated to The Board of Directors of Havebury meaning real involvement and input on all decisions.
The Forum has been involved with a variety of areas and has recently updated its Tenant Involvement Policy statement and Action Plan. In addition, the Community Investment Focus Group is currently distributing a record number of grants and the Forum has played a lead role in this.
New members of all ages are welcome. If you are interested in joining the Tenant's Forum, or would like to contact a member of the Tenant's Forum in your area, please click here or use the 'Contact' menu available on the left of this page. |
